Chaotic Behavior in Liquids

An interesting video was posted just today. The subject is Lagrangian Coherent Structures (LCS) and the Gulf Coast oil spill with Thomas Peacock, an Associate Professor of Chemistry at MIT.

Dr. Peacock curated and edited a Chaos Focus Issue on LCS in Fluid Flows and is studying how and where the oil spill along the Gulf Coast will come ashore.

And who's that mysterious host? In the interest of full disclosure his name is: me!
